Summary
A grotesque killer plagues Rivermeet, leaving a string of headless corpses in their wake. When the local administration and the cityguard are unable to lay them by the heels, the Duke of Valin calls upon his old adventuring friend, eccentric alchemist Saira Hawthorne to use her skills to bring the killer to justice.
