He must’ve noticed her staring, because his question came out as a growl and got paired by deep lines of a lifetime of scowling as he turned his head to look at her. He clearly wasn‘t a man of hospitality.
Lucy couldn‘t help but chuckle, not a bit intimidated, biting her lip as she noticed the other features of his body; the blue of his eyes; the muscles of his biceps rippling as he grabbed onto his glass. A smile danced on her lips, her eyes narrowing a little at the prospect of a challenge.

Her eyes traced down onto the cocktail; the intricate sugared rim, the ice cubes glistering in the slightly warm environment. Her eyes wander up towards the guy talking to her, and she puts on a friendly smile, but her hand tightens around her beer bottle.
“Uh- thanks. That’s… kind.”
She answers as she makes no move towards the glass. She gives him a polite nod before turning back around towards the bar, hoping he gets the message that she’s not really interested in talking to him.

Tim's hands fluttered over the soft skin beneath it, the darkness around them drowning out everything but them. His heart was still beating fast and from the way Lucy was breathing, she clearly had yet to recover completely. It had been a beautiful night. Seeing Lucy for the first time, having all of her, her having all of him. It was all that Tim could have wished for. There had been no awkwardness between them, the transition from seeing each other in uniform daily, with a small but extisting gap between them to having her exclaim his name underneath him going flawlessly, and it showed Tim once again how utterly perfect she was. But now, with the adrenaline and need slowly wearing off, something came to his mind that he had previously brushed to the side, too encapsulated in every other part of her body.
