Summary
When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

You're the new Care of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts, called by Dumbledore due to your history of outstanding class rankings. You take the staff train to Hogwarts a couple weeks before the new year begins, as is standard for professors. However, due to no real teaching experience, the headmaster requires you to spend some time getting teaching training from the ever so loathesome man you met on your journey: Severus Snape. Things start off tense with dislike, but eventually, you feel the tension turn in a different direction... What connections will you form... and how will they be affected by the dangerous events that transpire at Hogwarts?
