Summary
The one who had birthed the curse that took away the pinionfolks' flight is standing right in front of him. What will the Guardian prioritize? His burning vengeance for avenging his old flock, or his passion to protect his new one? Will his 'purpose' lie solely to protect his flock? The Guardian knew not of the answers for these, for he didn't ask these questions in the first place. A friendship was almost broken, were it not for a sudden change of mind, or rather, change of perspective. Even after a devastating revelation, will he be able to rebuild the same level of familiarity that once was? Or perhaps, would it be able to surpass it?

Summary
Picture yourself,
Flying towards a horde of beastflies; unsure of whether you’ll wake another morning. Imagine the buzzing buzz of their wings, muffled by the shell of the only thing protecting you; the very mech that is used to terminate these horrid bio-enhanced insects.
This was the life I was in, the life I chose, the life I decided to be in. It was hell, by all means, a living hell, but at least 5 other people suffered with me. People like me; those deciding life might be too boring. For me, life inside the city was just too damn boring. The normalcy of an office job, clocking in and clocking out, I hated it. I signed up for the sole reason being that normalcy wasn’t enough.
But there was another thing. Central City, as we know it, is a closed-off region of the world, with the rest of the world being overrun with dangerous and hideous flora and fauna. There hasn’t been an expedition out there since… God knows how long. I’d like to change that.
But changes shall be made in the future, there are vilebloods that must be hunted.
