Summary
What were Janeway and Chakotay doing during the events of Picard Season 3?
It's been a bit since I've written these two (or at least as primary, not as part of a Shaw/Seven work), and I need a distraction from a loose crown LOL. So why not indulge myself? You'll have to put up with the Seven and Shaw of it all, but they won't be central to most of it. (For those who dig the dynamic, there are a ton of Shaw/Seven over on my website.)
J/C was my first ship I read fanfic in and still such a love. I have skimmed Prodigy for the J/C parts, but it won't factor into this. If the Prodigy timeline happened before Frontier Day, it didn't bring them together--in this story's universe anyway.
I also feel there are just a ton of unresolved issues regarding Seven. And she's for sure a favorite character of mine. So expect some exploration of that whole dynamic from Voyager days and beyond. And yeah, I'll redeem Shaw all the day long. Love the character.

Summary
Thank you to the person who pointed out I'd neglected to post this series here. An oversight on my part but also an opportunity to clean up the first story a bit before posting as it was my first really long ambitious work.
I hope you enjoy it. And the two sequels.
These were written in 2000 as an Original Series story, 2004 as one set in the TNG timeframe and 2005 as one set during the Dominion War--so long before anything we know about Spock's later life via the Reboot movies or in Strange New Worlds or Discovery. Or his earlier life with Chapel as we are discovering delightfully on Strange New Worlds. So enjoy it for the period it was told in.

Summary
A Kirk/Spock/Chapel series that started with a standalone story, and then took off. The stories vary in tone from dark and serious to lighthearted and humorous. This triangle goes all the way around, it's not just Chapel with two boyfriends, nor is Chapel the token girl in a mostly slash story. All are told from Chapel's POV, which limits things a bit at times, but it started out her story to tell, and she intends to keep it that way.
