Summary
“Stay still or I’ll fucking blow your head off.” Soobin hissed through gritted teeth, ready to pull the trigger at any moment.
The person beneath him flinched, hands raised in submission. “W-wait, N-no! Please!” the voice was highpitched, almost desperate. “I-I’m not a—I'm alive!”
Soobin’s gaze flickered to the stranger's face eyes scrutinizing when the person turned his head towards Soobin.
A man. Looking barely twenty. His face was covered in dirt and streaks of blood, his clothes tattered and torn, but behind the glasses he worn, his eyes... dark brown, wide with fear. Soobin studied his face carefully, looking for any signs of anything abnormal—the pale, dead eyes, the blank stare—nothing. His eyes were surely someone that of alive that is for sure. His face was still intact, Soobin trailed his eyes on the man’s body. No bite, scars or anything, few scrapes. No signs of pus.
Soobin didn’t lower the gun though. He couldn’t afford to take chances. He leaned closer, pressing the barrel harder against the stranger’s temple. “Why are ya’ following me?” Soobin’s voice was cold, emotionless.

Huening Kai must have been crafted with the utmost love and care. He had many moles delicately placed upon his face, his neck, and even his chest. Perfectly painted, perfectly placed. As Soobin hovered over him, he could see each and every deliberate stroke of genius that was taken to create his beauty.
In the midst of evacuating humans during The Rapture, the angel Soobin finds a human among the ordinary that he believes to be more holy than God himself.

Soobin kisses Kai with madness, with a desire so great he thinks it might explode out of him. "We have rehearsal in 10, we should stop."
"Yeah." Their words are breathless, chests heaving. Kai is staring up at him radiantly and how can someone look so good in a closet with poor lighting? Soobin wonders if he shouldn't have rushed into labelling them as friends with benefits all those weeks ago when they'd been a little too drunk to make good decisions.
Kai leaves first, looking back once and smiling at Soobin.
And Soobin wishes he'd never gone out that night, at least he would never have to long for something that's almost in his grasp, but not quite.
