The guy grins and wipes his hands on a towel before turning to the register. “What can I get you? You’ve never been here, right? I think I’d remember a skyscraper walking in.”
X huffs out a soft laugh despite himself. “Yes, first time. I smelled something good on my way to work.”
“Oh? Then you have good instincts,” the guy says, then leans slightly forward on his elbows like he’s about to tell him a secret. “Everything’s fresh. And I always put out the really good stuff in the early morning.”
X’s mouth opens. His brain says something stupid along the lines of ‘you're really good stuff so early in the morning’, but his mouth, blessedly, filters it into, “What do you recommend?”
The guy straightens. “Depends. What do you like?”
Cute guys with brown hair and cat pins on their aprons. X hesitates. His eyes are tracing the boy’s features, the flour on the forearms, the smile that’s a little too bright for this early in the morning and that creases beneath his eyes. He smells like vanilla and butter when X breathes in.
“Sweet,” he hears himself say instead. “Really sweet.”

Summary
Nice lets him go, or more like, Lin Ling stumbles back to his feet, amazed that he’s somehow alive after that utterly reckless pursuit and pats himself down like he’s making sure what he is feeling is real, that his body is a tangible, existing thing and not–
Lin Ling looks up again like he’s reminded Nice is there too, hysteria now catching up to him.
“What were you doing?”
In which Lin Ling saves Nice and their world turns upside down.

Summary
Without his consent, his body starts to move. It pulls him towards the booth, towards the couple, effectively solidifying him further in the situation that Motoya has stupidly found himself in. The situation being Motoya developing not one, but two crushes in the pathetic span of half a day.
Komori Motoya has always had a big heart. It's no wonder he ends up falling in love with two.

Summary
Motoya was a liar.
He was nothing better than a wounded animal backed in a corner- he not only lied to protect himself, but to protect the ones around him.
Motoya's sense of belonging was sparse, his ability to trust was even dimmer. After running from a grueling past of a family that cast him the black sheep, as well as a disloyal relationship, he began to run out of viable reasons to live a truthful life.
The last thing he expected was to stumble into a pre-established relationship, befriending a couple tied to the only person he seemed to trust in the world- his cousin. When friends begin to leak and blur into something more, he found that he could no longer lie to protect himself.He needed to do something that he swore to never do again- open up.
(Fic is a spinoff of "Miya Atsumu's Guide to: What NOT to Do in the Workplace" I recommend you read that before indulging in this fic!)
