That was the sentence that shattered Sasha’s life.
She heard it on a chill Autumn evening around the dinner table, staring at a plate of lukewarm food she hadn’t had the stomach to eat. She heard it watching her mother slam her wine glass down on the table, making it shatter and leaving a gaping crack where wine dripped that may as well have been blood.
When Sasha Waybright is kicked out of her house, she is at a loss for where to stay. Reluctant to let people help her, she hides away, trying to pretend that everything is fine. But just how long will she be able to keep up appearances...?
