“...Choi Subong, correct?” Nam-gyu asks.
“Uh, yes–” Thanos looks down at Nam-gyu’s skirt, then down to his stockings, all the way to his heels. He clears his throat. “Sir? They said you wanted to see me.”
Nam-gyu looks down at him through his glasses, “Yes. We need to discuss a matter of, ah, let’s call it…” He thumbs through the file, “Misuse of workplace property, and use of inappropriate language towards fellow colleagues.”
He pushes himself back on the swivel chair he’s in. Thanos can swear that there’s an evil look in his eyes.
“Tell me, Subong. You are aware that your company email is monitored, correct?”
Ah, shit.

“I—“
Nam-gyu turns his head to look at him— the TV’s ambient glow soft against his face as the credits roll. Thanos suddenly gets a lump in his throat.
“I’m getting kind of tired, man. How about we pack this up for the night. Yeah?”
Nam-gyu’s eyebrows furrow, and Thanos is worried that the other man can see right through him. Luckily, he heaves a self suffering sigh and starts to drag the extra blankets and pillows off the couch.
He gathers the bundle in his arms and turns away, “Fine. But I’m picking the first movie next time. Make sure to take off your socks before you go to bed. They’re disgusting.”
Thanos scoffs and leans back into the couch cushions. Watching Nam-gyu leave out of the corner of his vision. The moment that he hears the door to their shared room (and god, that really doesn’t help) shut, he presses the heel of his palm into one of his eyes.
Fuck.

Normal rough housing usually doesn’t have this many weird pauses to it.
