Wade’s an observant guy. He knows that something fishy went down a ways back near the Statue of Liberty, and that something fishy happened as a result. But once they fixed up the Statue of Liberty, everyone moved on from it the way they move on from every freaky thing that happens, so learning much more than that has been harder than finding Blind Al’s hidden stash of cocaine. And Wade is also a busy guy, so unless he has some reason to care, he’s gonna make like his old man and fuck off about it.
This, though, might be a reason to care.

Summary
They had been scooped up in the lab for almost three weeks and Stone was feeling it in his back. The doctor was working beneath the skeletal chassis of a new model of multi-purpose tank. Every now and then Stone would hear him curse, grunt or hum along to the music that played from the lab's sound system.
Stone stretched his arms over-head for the umpteenth time when an alarm suddenly sounded from the doctor's central control hub.
Both men paused and looked at the notification screen.

All the romance books and movies made it seem like getting a soul mark was something that made the world stop. Something that you could feel in your very heart.
It wasn’t something that could just happen without you knowing, right? You couldn’t just go weeks without noticing its appearance, right? A whole tattoo on your body going unnoticed for weeks was ridiculous.
The soul marks were supposed to be in a noticeable place. Not a fucking tramp stamp, right?Wrong. Peter has a tramp stamp soul mark and no idea when or where it happened, and more importantly, no idea who his soulmate is.
AKA: the fic where Spiderman and Deadpool are literal soulmates, and it takes them way too long to figure it out
