Summary
A disguised Billie Eilish sits beside Elyian Iriath—a queer, transmasc freelancer—at a screening of her own movie live in 3D, expecting a funny interaction and maybe a memorable night.
But Elyian doesn’t expect her to stay through the first few songs, talking to him in the dark like they’ve known each other for years, and he definitely doesn’t expect her to keep coming back. What starts as a surreal night at the movies slowly turns into something quieter—late drives through the city, unfinished conversations, shared music, and that strange feeling of being truly seen by someone who spends her whole life being watched.
Elyian is terrified of crossing a line, being too much and scaring her off but Billie is terrified of what happens when someone finally doesn’t.A lot can change in twenty seconds—a lot can happen in the dark.
