Being sent to the Rito in the dead of winter is a punishment. Link is ostensibly relieving the longtime Hylian military attaché, so this could be construed a promotion—but for the timing.
Another birthday has come and gone, and still he has not presented. And even though everyone expects him to be appointed the Princess’s knight, one thing is for sure—the King will never select anyone but an alpha. And he certainly won’t trust his only child with someone who hasn’t even presented yet. Maybe it would be different if Link had the sword that seals the darkness, but he doesn’t.

Yoo Joonghyuk wants to point out that he’s a hypocrite, wants to push his face away, averse to touch as he is. But he does none of this. Instead, he shuts his eyes and lets Kim Dokja do whatever he wants.
He ignores the tears seeping into his fur.
OR - the fic in which Kim Dokja finds Yoo Joonghyuk, an injured werewolf in an alleyway, thinking it was a puppy and cares for him.

The gods went ahead and caused Cale more chaos. He could practically see his slacker life waving as it ran away from him, the glares and distrustful looks of the Birth of a Hero World definitely didn't help his blood pressure.
At least, Kim Rok Soo also had to suffer, a small mercy that Cale gleefully accepted.
To save the world of the original book, the Birth of a Hero, Cale's heroic past will be randomly shown on the big screen, while the gods started a side quest of matchmaking with expected results.

Kim Dokja lowers his eyelashes and then mumbles under his breath. Yoo Joonghyuk doesn’t catch it and leans forward to hear it better.
“What was that?”
“I said that you like your kitchen more than me!” he shouts.
Yoo Joonghyuk startles back harshly, eyes wide. "What the fuck?"
He’s deviating from the plan a bit but it’s fine.
Apparently, Kim Dokja's been dating his roommate for two whole entire years, despite thinking they would never be more than just friends with benefits. As such, to make up for time lost, he devises a list of couple-y things to do with Yoo Joonghyuk.
Kitchen sex is the number one priority.
