Summary
Once he was all set up, Markus placed himself in front of the canvas and angled just right so that he could still see Connor from where he was standing. Connor hadn’t moved in the entire time that Markus had been walking around the room, the poor android was out cold. If Markus had to guess, he probably hadn’t been getting enough rest lately.
Markus began with a sketch, drawing the loose outline of Connor’s position stretching across the canvas, the drape of his arms, and the arch of his chest as he contorted awkwardly on a couch that was too small for him. He drew the shape of the fabric draping over his legs and how it hung from the couch he lay on.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she sat back up just enough to look her in the eye, “You’re lying.”
Ragatha looked away, bringing up a hand to run through her hair. Pomni wasn’t the best at reading people, but she’d picked up on this being one of the woman’s nervous tells. She was uncomfortable.
She knew that getting Ragatha to talk about her own feelings was like pulling teeth, but getting brushed off still made her feel as if rocks had carelessly been tossed into her stomach.

Summary
Pomni threaded herself between Ragatha's legs and settled in front of them. Gangle's face instantly lit up, her ribbons fluttering at the sight, "Kitty!"Gangle dropped to her knees and held out a ribbon, letting Pomni either come to her or reject the attention. The hall was quiet as Pomni considered Gangle. Ragatha could almost hear the gears turning in her head as the seconds stretched.
Pomni, having made up her mind, moved closer into Gangle's space and earned a delighted noise from the woman as her ribbon inched forward to pet at Pomni's furry head.
"What's up with this?" Zooble said, their voice laced with confusion. "Did Caine give Pomni a therapy cat or something?"
Ragatha tapped her index fingers together, eyes fixed on Gangle and Pomni, "Uh, that's Pomni."
Gangle froze and Zooble's stared.
"WHAT?" Gangle shrieked, her eyes locked onto the odd little cat.
