Summary
Under the guidance of famous contemporary artist, Mori Ougai, Dazai dedicated his life to art a long, long time ago. From him, he learned how to become highly distinguished in his field, and more importantly, how to suffer.
But, on his first day teaching at Yokohama National University, he manages to upset Physics Professor, Chuuya Nakahara by "brazenly interrupting his class." It’s ridiculous, really, to have a meeting with the disciplinary office so early into his employment-- especially considering that the petit, redheaded professor absolutely overreacted.
Whatever. If he needs to make-nice with some pint sized asshole to avoid sabbatical, then so be it.

Summary
Gravity Hotels and Casinos: the castle of Chuuya Nakahara. From Yokohama to the Las Vegas strip, the sun never sets on Chuuya's empire. But with the gambling, the money, the drugs, and the sex- came a messy divorce, a few DUIs, a couple stints in rehab, and hundreds of burned bridges.
After getting his driver's license back, Chuuya's sister, Kouyou, lets him take his nephew to Chuck E. Cheese after school. Obviously, to get the best prize and thus buy his nephew's affection, Chuuya (kinda-sorta) tries to rob the place.
Luckily, the handsome, bandaged man behind the arcade counter won't call the police- on one condition:
Chuuya becomes his new sugar daddy.

Summary
It’s been 4 months, 1 week, 3 days, and 12 hours since Dazai's band, Dark Era, broke up-- and he has never wanted to throw himself off a building more than he does now. Sure, the disbandment was (kind of) his fault. That isn't the point. God forbid a bassist gets a little too high on stage and 'traumatizes a room full of people.'
Thankfully, Dazai has his job at a small music and adult video store in the gut of Yokohama, despite the 2009 recession making business mind-numbingly slow.
He misses throwing shows and parties. The underground scene isn’t the same without them; everyone knows it.
Plus, without his band, money is getting tight. He can't even afford to pay his plug, for fucks sake. He needs a break, a fresh start--
One that might come with a redhead walking through the music shop door.

the sake in his bloodstream and the saltwater in his lungs couldn’t drown out the noise. and so, without further hesitation, he reaches for the silence.
dazai's brain doesn't shut up. well, it doesn't shut up for anything but a very particular redhead. well, a certain body part attached to that redhead, in particular when it's shoved down dazai's throat. sometimes desperation overtakes dignity and you have to suck it up for some peace and quiet.
yes, i do believe dazai osamu cockwarms nakahara chuuya in lieu of therapy. wouldn' t you?
alternatively; my version of dazai and chuuya seeing each other for the first time in four years
