Summary
While out on patrol in their third year at UA, Izuku and Katsuki run into a little problem: somehow, a quirk has linked them both emotionally and physically. It's seemingly nothing more than an inconvenience, but Izuku is finding it harder and harder to hide his feelings for Katsuki that he's already decided to give up on. Katsuki, on the other hand, is totally clueless, though he does know that it's uncomfortable having Izuku so minutely aware of him and his convoluted emotions.
As the year progresses and the link wanes, the two hero students join a mission alongside several classmates involving smuggled high tech weapons, manipulation, and an organization hell-bent on righting the wrongs they've endured at the hands of corruption — all while Izuku struggles with a rapidly diminishing supply of One For All that Katsuki refuses to face. In the midst of the justice-seeking chaos, both students are forced to confront their feelings and figure out their next steps with the clock ticking down till graduation. But there's always more than one way out, and one of those ways is avoiding the culmination entirely. The only question left is:

“You’ve gotta be fuckin’ kidding me,” Katsuki said. “You did not just ask me—me—to try and date your loser step-brother.”
He wasn’t even going to say Deku’s name out loud. Wasn’t giving him the time of day, even in a conversation about him. That weird awkward virgin was not worth his precious time, and certainly not what Kirishima was suggesting.

It's awkward. Their scents are mixing. Izuku can feel the sweat begin to bead at the back of his neck. Their chemistry is tested, the way their bodies react and instincts engage.
It's not about sex. In fact, you're not permitted to have penetrating sex at all. The intimacy that is expected is what keeps them silent. They are free from wandering eyes, gossiping mouths, and nosy ears. They, for once, are Izuku and Katsuki.
That's the problem, Izuku thinks idly, watching as Katsuki sits, respectfully; painfully so, like a statue. Not so much as a wiggled finger or a tensed muscle.
Like he's waiting.
And it hits Izuku then, that he is. Waiting. Leaving the pace up to Izuku alone.
"This is…" His voice shakes, nervous and unsure. "This is the first time we've really been alone, together. If you think about it. Where we can just be… us, I guess. No one around to judge."
"Us?"
"Yeah. Not… two betrothed or an Alpha and Omega. Izuku and Kacchan only."
Or: Arranged to wed to bridge the gap between their tribes, Izuku and Katsuki attempt to dismantle years of biased teachings for not just themselves, but the future of their people, too. And, maybe, grow to love along the way.

Poppy kneels beside them, holding out the phone. "Who do I call?"
"Aizawa. Speed dial two." Katsuki doesn't take his eyes off Shoto, doesn't stop the counting, doesn't loosen his hold. "Tell him we need him here. Now. Tell him.... tell him someone found documentation."
Poppy's fingers fumble with the phone, finally getting it unlocked, hitting the speed dial. It rings twice before Uncle Sho's voice answers.
"Katsuki, it's Sunday morning, this better be—"
"Uncle Sho, it's Poppy." Her voice cracks. "Something's wrong with Papa. He's— I don't know what's happening, he can't breathe and he's crying and shaking and I don't know what to do—"
The change in Aizawa's voice is instant. "I'm on my way. Five minutes. Is Katsuki with him?"
"Yes, he's— he's trying to help but Papa won't stop—" She can't finish the sentence because Shoto has started making these horrible keening sounds, like he's in physical pain.
