Shouto let out a irritated sigh once he reached the firefighter, marble grey and turquoise blue eyes narrowing.
“Hey hotshot,” he snapped, shaking Izuku’s shoulder with a hand, “the oxygen mask isn’t a necklace. It goes on your face, not around your neck.”
Izuku blinked, looking up at Shouto with surprisingly bright emerald green eyes.
“You’re not the nice paramedic lady.”

In hindsight, Shouto thinks, he had been extremely dense. Overcharged Kaminari levels of dense, really. Then again, it wasn’t entirely his fault, either. Everyone in class 2-A knows that he isn’t really fast on the uptake when it comes to social cues, after all.
So, really, it was all Izuku’s fault, not his.
