He knows his work is essential, and that there is honor and pride in being a paramedic, but it is kind of exhilarating watching firefighters work, and a different kind of adrenaline consistently pumps through Tobio’s veins seeing Hinata dive head first into literal fire, every single time, only to come out all scruffed, sweaty, and rugged-looking.
Tobio is but a simple man, so he can admit, even if just to himself, that seeing Hinata work is the hottest thing he has ever witnessed. No pun intended.
Every call was a new kind of fire, but the one burning between Kageyama and Hinata is the one threatening to consume them both.
