Luke Skywalker had already lost his chance at rebuilding the long lost order he held so dear to him a long time ago, his own mistakes causing its destruction.
Yet in his last few days, he resolved himself to allow for the next generation to carrying on the legacy of the Jedi, to carry on the torch he himself could not uphold. With his final stand allowing himself to teach the next Jedi mentors to not make the same mistakes he did.
But fate had other plans. Instead of becoming one with the Force as a spirit, he was sent to a land far beyond the known Galaxy. Younger in body but older in mind as he was given his second chance to guide a generation as an Advisor. Yet he still holds fear in his heart that someday, his attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order here would end up in tragedy like it had so many decades ago.
But he won't be letting this second chance go to waste, even if the people he was supposed to guide all happen to be slugthrower wielding, highly durable if slightly trigger happy girls.

A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away, a Fix-It AU protagonist went back to the most pivotal era in the history of the Republic, whatever that was. Once arrived at that special time, the Fix-It AU protagonist immediately convinced the Council that the old rules were restrictive and needed to change, and promptly rewrote the entire Code, all out of love for the Jedi and what they could be.
Then, the Fix-It AU protagonist went to read their new rights to the entire Order.
