Snow. Elayne had described it to her before, saying that it was like sand but pure white and made of cold water, but Aviendha’s attempts to imagine it paled in comparison to the reality. It was wondrous.
She felt a shift in her new bond with Rand. Sleep into wakefulness. “You’re cold,” he said, voice warm and rough with sleep. “Come back to bed.”

There was nothing Mat hated more than having to sit still indoors for hours at a time—Rand was willing to bet that he was being fussier about it than the twins were.
Rand smiled to himself and wrapped his arm more snugly around Aviendha. They were having a lovely and relaxing morning so far. Not being an official part of the royal family meant not having to sit for any portraits.

Shielding removed the taint from his body and being unshielded again flooded his body with the taint.
There in the Ways Rand, Moiraine and Lan learn something new about the taint and about Lanfear.Rand loves Lanfear, but he also comes to see just how much he needs her how valuable she is.

Shows how the relationship between the two might evolve if they were thrown together more quickly even than in show-canon, how that might affect character growth for each of them, and how that in turn could change the way they approach their roles in the fight against the Shadow through the remaining season 1 events adapted from EoTW and on.
