Summary
According to old Uchiha tradition, Sakura has been courting Sasuke for two months. She gives him her own bandages, brings him homemade food, repairs his clothes, leaves flowers in his home, and somehow manages to perform nearly every courtship gesture his clan ever had.
Sasuke, naturally, assumes she knows exactly what she is doing.
Sakura, naturally, has absolutely no idea.

Summary
Sasuke is hundreds of miles away when Sakura nearly dies.
By the time he comes home, the missing-nin is defeated, the surgeries are over, and Sakura is already awake and recovering. There is nothing left for him to fight, nothing left for him to save her from, and nothing he can do about the fact that when she needed him most, she had been somewhere his hands could not reach.
Sakura is fine now.
Sasuke knows that.
It just doesn’t explain why, once he finally has her within reach again, he can’t seem to let her get very far.
