Summary
Sage had always been a little off for an omega.
His fangs were longer than most, something others found unattractive. He talked too much—especially about the things he loved, like math, puzzles and obscure sci-fi shows. And worst of all, he couldn’t even smell other people's pheromones.
Most alphas found him annoying. At least, that’s what they told him every time he worked up the courage to ask one out, only to be turned down—again.
Eventually, Sage stopped trying. He gave up on the idea of finding a mate or having a family. Instead, he threw himself into his work, building a quiet life as a high school math teacher. It wasn't glamorous, but it was his. Predictable. Safe.
Then everything changed the day the new P.E. teacher arrived.
