Summary
Sara, Ava, and the rest of the SuperFriends are back in the final installment of the Avalance as Supercorp series. It's been six months since that fateful night at Gideon's party, and everyone is still grappling with the fallout. Sara's relationships with her sister and best friends have eroded. Tension within and among the SuperFriends is at an all-time high. Meanwhile Gideon and Baker are locked in a fierce Presidential campaign. Spurred on by Bishop, Baker has leaned increasingly into an anti-alien platform in a bid to secure re-election. Amid brewing political tension as well as fractures among their own ranks, can the SuperFriends rebuild their family and save their city from the sinister forces determined to tear them apart forever?

Summary
Ava Sharpe is standing in front of the blackboard, chalk in her right hand and her notebook in her left. She has her blue cardigan on over her white shirt, and when she looks up at Sara who just burst through the door, her glasses slip down her nose. She fixes them back with her right hand and the chalk powder stains her hair in the process. The sight punches Sara in the guts. Hence, no breath.
“Sharpe. I have some major news. [...] It’s about the FIIST!” She makes a victorious fist gesture to emphasize what she means, as if Ava is supposed to get what the hell she’s talking about.
“Wow, you move fast. I guess good for you, if she’s into that kind of thing,” Ava’s frowning at something on the board now, she scratches her chin in a pensive manner and the chalk marks her skin there.
Sara loses herself in the movement for a second. “No, Ava, you’re not getting it. The Female Inter-faculty Indoor Soccer Tournament."//
Or, Sara's a Chemistry PhD candidate; Ava is a Physics Professor.
Sara's soccer team is short one faculty member, so now she's trying to get Ava to play. One small, insignificant problem: Ava seems to be physically unable to stand on a soccer field without PTSD flashbacks.Bookmarked by E77

Sara has made her choice long before. She fosters it, nurtures it, that feeling in the pit of her stomach. The rage. The vengeance. The bloodthirst. She cares for it like an old friend, it stands beside her through everything, it guides her and drives her more than anything else.
Everything else that once took space in her has been consumed by it.//
Or, Sara loses her wife, and decides she would gladly burn the world to the ground to avenge her. A dangerous path, with very steep costs - one of which may be losing her all over again.
