Summary
“Oh,” he whispers, sounding almost awed, “you were happy! You were happy she slapped me, you enjoyed seeing me so humiliated.”
“No, no, I didn’t,” John murmurs, affection throbbing in his chest at the wounded amazement in Sherlock’s voice when he whispers, “Filthy liar.”

Summary
John sipped his tea in amicable silence with the stranger who had read him like a book and who, apparently, also read Portuguese.
Mrs. Hudson walked by once or twice, but did little more than warm his tea and cast a sweet smile his way. This must be why the door to the shop didn’t read “book store” but rather “Mrs. Hudson’s Reading Room.” She clearly had a respect for the sacred quiet of reading.
Alternate first time meeting fic. Written for the Springlock Gift Exchange on tumblr. Prompt was the simple and elegant "Reading". So in honor of that, I replaced Speedies with Mrs. Hudson's Reading Room. Then I waited for two men who never fail to meet, to make their way to one another.

Summary
Based on the 1961 movie of the same name, two teens (John and Sherlock) meet and fall in love in high school in California, 1928. Driven by society, learning about sex and what to/not to do, their relationship progresses in different ways.
sample:
"Sherlock doesn't mind seeing John surrounded by cheerleaders in the hall. The girls hang on him like he's a superhero. Their tight tops rub against him in a wholly suggestive way. It doesn't bother Sherlock because of the way John watches him walk by."
