“I’m just as eager to leave,” said Nai. “But first, I want to see what you’re trying to draw me away from.”
You flattened yourself against the wall, breath coming fast. There was nowhere to hide.

It had been one hundred years since the fall. One hundred years since your previous life exploded into shrapnel and burned to the ground. One hundred years of watching the assembly and subsequent destruction of lives around you. Vash, your cards, and the restlessness were your only constants.
