“Nervous?” Minho asks, casually, as if completely unaware of what the two of you needed to do.
You bit your tongue, and held your head high.
“No,” you lied.

Summary
A slow burn, angsty, enemies to lovers soulmate!au.
“I know,” you say, cutting him off before he can finish. You didn’t want to hear it. “I know. But what if it’s not everything people say it is. What if it’s a placebo effect? We all think this other person is perfect for us, and so they are. We convince ourselves they are.”
“Maybe,” he says. Then, “Does it matter?”
“Yes,” you reply quickly.
“Why?”
“Because clearly it isn’t working on him.”

Summary
You were a painter, once.
But that was before.
Before the accident that crushed both your hand and your dreams, snatching away the future you'd planned for yourself in an instant. Your bones would mend, yes, but not the same. It wasn't the same. It would never be the same.
Though you wouldn't - no, couldn't - bring yourself to paint now, that didn't change that you could teach. That you held knowledge beyond that of most. Knowledge that held value to those who still had the privelege to dream the artist's dream - to dream your dream.
Despite your initial reluctance to the idea, a gentle push from your mother - the threat of institutionalization had you not done something aside from rotting away in bed, alone, in the dark - made you much more agreeable.
Your pupil, a beautiful boy by the name of Hyunjin, had a very peculiar way of getting under your skin depite his pure intentions. Teaching him was infuriating, the ease of which he picked up on your methods serving only as a reminder of what you'd lost.
Hyunjin, however - despite your abrasiveness - was determined to learn - about painting, and you.

Summary
You’d given up on love long ago, the picture of absolute irony for a successful romance author. Hit by a sudden and severe case of writer’s block, you download tinder in an attempt to set up dates that could inspire the next big novel in your repertoire. Juxtaposing the cheery smile your profile photo sported, you’d typed potentially the most cynical bio on the entire app and began swiping:
“Love is dead, prove me wrong.”
Enter Lee Felix, a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, in love with love despite his terrible luck with affairs of the heart, who took great offense to the slandering of what he firmly believed was the greatest feeling in the world.
And he’s determined to change your mind.
