Summary
Humans were good at many things, and terrible at just about anything else. One of those things was simply not paying attention to the writing on the wall and not taking a hint, even if that hint was the murder of self-entitled poachers and the arson of a mega-corporations new eyesores.
You'd been here longer than any of them and you'd be there when the town became nothing but rubble. A staunch protector of the land, its waters, and the creatures that lived there. While there were only a few handful of humans that could be called your friends, they were far outweighed by those that would cross the street at your passing. All of this was fine until some new creatures settled down in the nearby waters and threw that barely managed balance out of whack.I DO NOT consent for my work(s) to be used or given to AI. Summary
You were a prototype. Built as a way to test the effectiveness of robotic staff. According to the people that built you, you were a mindless droid meant to preform the basic tasks that they didn't want to pay minimum wage for someone to do. They sent you to some fancy mall to be the janitor near the daycare, testing your abilities before they "make more of you".
You didn't like being called mindless. As far as you could tell, you weren't that different than the humans you saw during the day. You had thoughts and feelings all the same. So why did everyone treat you poorly? They poked and prodded at you, they purposely made messes just to watch you clean them up, they called you mean names while they looked at you, treating you like you weren't able to comprehend them.
Those two working in the daycare were different, though. They said hello to you, helped you clean up if they had the chance, asked you questions and actually cared about your thoughts. The happy one even called you his friend. You felt enamored by them.
You hadn't felt this way before.

Summary
Two miles from Baywind Village is a series of hotsprings, connected by underwater tunnels. One wants to befriend you, one hates your guts, and the last would kill anyone if it meant killing you too.
You unravel mysteries and find the ghostly remnants of your past; all the while you're slowly sinking in the dark waters as an unforeseen relic of your past begins haunting you once more.
