Summary
You're in charge of your niece while her parents travel Europe and you have the most amazing summer plans for the two of you! You adore your niece and all her friends, so it is no surprise when your house turns out to be the hangout spot for the teenagers over the school break. You're used to it and come to expect a busy house, but what you don't expect is your niece's new friend and her uncle? Guardian? Silent, grumpy bodyguard?
You're not sure how he's related to Claire, but you know for sure that you're not going to get along. He's rude, dismissive, and refuses to engage with anyone except Claire - and your niece by proxy.
However, things quickly begin to unravel. Having him on your mind all the time becomes a dangerous game, and you know how it is...hatred forms passion and passion forms, well, something else entirely.
