Summary
In which some characters will take on similar roles to those of characters in the other fandom that's tagged in this (Komi). In this AU Sunny did not meet any of the others until high school. (Well, Kel *tried* but you'll see how that went later... spoiler Kel is the local equivalent of Najimi). Note that some characters will have traits from multiple other characters, or lack traits that their 'role' would suggest. For instance, Sunny is in the 'Komi' role, but is also genderfluid like 'Najimi'. And Kel just has all the energy and 'is friends with absolutely everyone' parts. There will not, however, be any character with the traits of 'Yamai'.
I'm writing this slowly by myself but I'd be really happy to have someone write it with me. By which I mean I'd just focus on Sunny's part while someone else more or less runs the world.

"How are WE gonna explain this to my mom?" Sunny asked in response.
"Hallucination induced panic attack?" Basil figured that for once the truth might actually work.
"Mmmm sure…" Sunny replied, just before a flash of pink entered the room.
"AND YOU TWO ARE JUST LAYING THERE CASUALLY TALKING!" Aubrey was still yelling. Just behind her was Hero. "Aubrey, please, calm down the ambu-"
"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN MY FRIENDS ARE DYING!"
"Sorry about that." Sunny said without any particular emotion.
"Yeah, sorry..." Basil added, also neutral.
Aubrey was crying in both anger and worry and a mix of other emotions. "S-SORRY? OH OKAY, YOU'RE SORRY! THEN EVERYTHING IS FINE!" Everything was not fine. Not fine at all. What the hell else was in that 'natural painkiller' Basil had given himself and Sunny? How the hell were they so calm about this?
