   Summary

   After the unpleasantness at the Bellona Club, Marjorie Phelps asked Lord Peter Wimsey if he wanted- was it marriage or a love-affair? it was hard to tell. Against his better judgment, Lord Peter agreed to the illicit proposal- only for him to then be jailed on suspicion of her murder after she disappeared from his flat and was found in the Thames, dead and mutilated.

   Harriet Vane, the successful detective novelist, found herself interested in the Marjorie Phelps murder trial, and an encounter with the Dowager Duchess of Denver left her with permission to visit the accused criminal of the hour, if she would agree to do some investigating of her own.

   Summary

   Set mid 1x03. Lan dramatically abandons Nynaeve in the camp with Moiraine to try and find another Aes Sedai who can help Heal her. Moiraine senses his departure from camp and stresses. Nynaeve attempts to comfort and reassure her difficult patient and discovers that Moiraine can still aggravate her while mostly unconscious.
