It’s that smile that made her fall in love with him - uncertain but joyous, adorable and arousing in equal measure. Strong and protective, but soft and gentle too. How could anybody be more perfect than Alan Grant?With the thought in her mind, she settles back in her seat, though it only takes a moment before Alan unbuckles his seatbelt and migrates to the middle seat, buckling the new seatbelt. It’s a smaller seat, but he’s closer to her, and they both need the proximity after everything they’ve gone through.

This my version of Jurassic PArk 3. I adore Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler, been shipping them together since 1993. It broke my heart to find out thier love didn't conquer all, so I wrote this story. This shows Alan and Ellie settled down and shows Alan being a father. It refelcts on his bond with each of his kids and how he is struggling to juggle having the best of both his worlds.

Miranda fought the overwhelming urge to topple over and throw up. She blinked once and, without taking her eyes off Andrea, asked, “What?”
Andrea bit down on her lip and sighed softly. “Do you like me?”
Miranda almost screamed yes. Instead, she closed her eyes and forced herself to breathe in and out slowly.
“What answer do you want?” she finally replied.
Andrea frowned slightly.
When Miranda spoke again, there was something dangerously close to pleading in her voice.
“Because I don’t want to make you uncomfortable,” she said. “I don’t want to scare you away. I can manage my feelings, but I can’t lose you.”
