Summary
Set after buck´s cardiac arrest in 6x10 - 11. Buck and Eddie are secretly dating but other people keeps hovering over Buck and well, Eddie is pouting and wants to have his man alone for ONE MINUTE. (even if it´s not mentioned once in this fic, hi i´m writing this after i wrote the story, i have no defence). I wanted peace of mind to explain the title.
Note: Me and the buckely parents are not on good terms, but for the stories sake, lets all just pretend that they are forgiven.
As you will notice, english is not my first language and honestly this is rubbish I just wanted to write something I couldn´t read. I hope there is a better version of this somewhere out there written by someone who can actually put coherent sentances together. i can´t say I´m proud of this... whatever it´s supposed to be I hope that someone might see the vision I envisioned with this. ishouldsleepgoodnight.

It made sense when he thought about it. Of course this was his answer. Of course it was Buck. It had always been Buck. Nobody would ever love him as devotedly as Buck did. Of course, it had been Buck that he spent all of his life searching for.
Or an alternate ending to Season 8 episode 09. Buck and Eddie fuck nasty after Eddie's goodbye dinner.

It’s why Eddie can immediately tell that somethings wrong when Buck steps out of the engine and rubs a hand against his chest before taking off toward the locker room. No one else batted an eye as Eddie headed in that direction and their captain just gave him a single nod.

Those words were what sent Buck down the steps toward the driveway, sliding in his jeep without another word and forcing his hands not to shake against the steering wheel. Everything inside him felt wrong, like the world was ending and although everyone was running away from the catastrophe he was realizing that maybe this was his saving grace.

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)
