Summary
Midoriya Izuku just wants to lead a quiet, peaceful life. This is foiled by the fact that a) he can see spirits, b) his good nature demands that he help anyone he sees in trouble, and c) he, by all rights, should not exist.
Helping the heroes who have fallen victim to the new quirk-breaking drug is a terrible idea for many reasons, the first and most important being that he hates attention and avoids it like the plague. But he's the only one who can help, so he does.
This is, Izuku decides as he breaks in, more trouble than it's worth.

With its Eighth holder, Yagi Toshinori, All Might, gravely injured following a battle with All for One, First decides it's time to choose the Ninth.
He really didn’t expect that vast heroic spirit to belong to a child, especially one so young that the lines between them... blur.Alternatively: Midoriya isn't exactly sure what he did, but he's got six ghosts hanging around him and an extra in his brain now. He's not sure how he feels about the spill over from the one he's currently brain buddies with, though.

Izuku Midoriya may have miscalculated, stolen the wrong ship and accidentally kidnapped the heir to the Endeavor, Todoroki Shouto, inducing the rage of over half the universe as well as a multitude of pursuers and at least three bounties on his head while making a dashing escape to avoid being thrown out an air lock, but at least Todoroki seems nice?
Or, two idiot boys traverse the universe together and commit crimes while the rest of the universe tears their hair out in frustration.

Summary
After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.
