“I’ve never been happier,” he replied, and his gaze turned inward as he drew a hand up her thigh, from knee to hip. “That’s true. That’s not an empty phrase. Sometimes even the Weave seems mundane, compared to the way you make me feel.”
Her breath stopped for a moment. “That… that is quite the compliment.”
