Summary
When Director Mary Wardwell unexpectedly quits only one week into the rehearsal period of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale," Lilith steps in to take her place. The project should be a great experience... if only her leading actors weren't the recently-divorced power couple, Zelda Spellman and Faustus Blackwood. This results in a very dangerous environment, because even though Zelda is trying to keep things professional, Faustus just won’t let her go. Lilith fears for her actress’ safety, despite the fact that Zelda assures her that it’s not a problem. The script calls for Leontes to be a jealous, raving lunatic, so surely Faustus is just committing himself to his role…?
Add to that the unwelcome presence of Lucifer Morningstar, an abusive ex-lover Lilith thought she'd left far in the past, and the show is sure to be a disaster. Can Lilith and Zelda help each other through this difficult time, or will their shared experiences only drive them further away from one another?

Summary
Zelda knew her church was dangerous, violent even, and she reveled in it; the rituals, black mass, the hellishly delicious darkness of it all. Reveled in the absolutes, that the Dark Lord did not suffer mistakes and rewarded those who were devout and worked hard.
Now? She had no faith in a Dark Lord that killed His own high priest after the agreed upon debt was paid. She had no faith in one that forced her to sell her niece and stole her brother anyway. In that moment, Zelda felt the faith she’d held for decades shatter beyond repair; she almost wanted to mourn the loss of it. But she shoved it aside.
She didn’t have the time or luxury. Zelda was suddenly the guardian of a 3-month old, head of the Spellman house, and new owner of a mortuary. She’d let Edward down before, known the trip was ill-fated and had done nothing to stop him. She’d said no and then given in—again.
She wouldn't fail him now; she’d caved in too many times before with a loved one—and look at where it had gotten them. She couldn’t make the same mistakes with Sabrina.
