It is strange, Maxwell decides, to be so certain he’s being stared at by a creature that has no discernable eyes. Torse has no pupils or irises to flit his way and away again, no lids to blink, no lashes to lower, and yet every time Maxwell has turned to let his own gaze fall on the automaton, he is certain the orange-red glow beneath Torse’s visor has been fixed on him, steadily watching.

Summary
A black haired child, clutching at the hand of his alien owner, watches Till with inky sable eyes. He’s wearing white, pajama-like clothes, seemingly one of the new students of Anakt Garden as they once were. He seems to be awestruck by Till’s performance, and he has a polite, small smile on his face as though he was trained not to let it stretch his lips any wider.
Luka’s gaze flicks back to Till and his eyes are blown wide, holding more emotion in his verdant irises than when his beloved Mizi had lost it. From what Luka could decipher; the main emotions swirling around chaotically was surprise, sorrow, and… grief?
And it clicks.
Ah,
Luka’s chosen the wrong one.

In which Round 7 happens, Till is coping terribly with losing Ivan, Luka is an insecure creep who is actively failing to manipulate Till, and the resistance has to restrain Ivan from rioting.
