Summary
This is a series re-write starting with Book 5. Everything from up until then is canon compliant. Harry learns of the importance of his role in the war ahead after doubting himself following the death of Cedric Diggory and Voldemort's resurrection. In the midst of a war, he learns that he wants more for his life than just to survive. He wants love and to be loved. After fighting in the war in the first fic, Voldemort's death doesn't bring the peace and normalcy Harry thought he had always wanted. There are mysteries to unravel, evil to defeat and relationships to maintain. Harry's life was never meant to be simple.
