Hiraeth

A deep, inborn sense of yearning and irrational bond felt with a time, era, place or person that is beyond the plane of existence.After Anne tore up Gilbert's letter, they had never seen each other ever since. Ten years slipped by and they believed they were never meant to be. They wandered like lost souls yearning for a home to go back to—always trying to fit in in a strange world they secretly despise. A house at the edge of the shore cliff was the first place they ever truly felt like coming home. One day, one of them found a journal and everything was starting to make sense.
This story follows the events in 3x10 with the exception of the last few minutes! Anne never met Winifred on her walk and Gilbert didn't meet Diana on the train.
