'“Don’t look at me like that,” Remus commented, but Regulus could hear his grin.
“Like what?”
“Like you’re waiting for me to start interrogating you.”
“I am.” Regulus shrugged, stretching his legs on the twin-sized bed they had worked together to extend into something that could comfortably fit the both of them.
“I’m not going to, Regulus, but it definitely would be polite of you to tell me. How does that sound as your first lesson on living in the mortal world?” He said, sitting on the floor at the edge of the bed, looking up at Regulus.
“They found out,” Regulus said, a smile on his face, despite there being very little to smile about.'
OR
Regulus turns up at the Lupins' freshly disowned, accompanied only by a loyal and grumpy house elf. For the first time, he has to find his way in the world and the war without the shield of Black; luckily, he has a kind and patient guide to the mortal world in Remus.

“Soulmates,” Clark says, his voice strained.
The word hits Bruce like a bullet through the lung. He keeps his face perfectly relaxed, his heartbeat calm and regular, as he realizes (too late, he's always too late) that he should have expected this all along.
