All he can smell is burning skin and melting metal. Or could he smell it? He’s not sure if he really can or he’s imagining it as he dies. He closes his eyes and waits for the end. Henry had everything planned to the end -- planned well enough that he didn’t have to worry.
He doesn’t need to breathe, but he sucks in one last breath. For old time’s sake.
And he breathes in mud and rain water.

Vanessa's life wasn't normal, but the world was. At least until she got a virus in her brain and things started to go downhill at an alarming rate. With the virus still in her brain, a couple of lucky survivors of Fazbear's sins, and two children she has no choice but to navigate the hellscape the world has become.
That might even mean trusting some of the very animatronics ruining the world; a hard ask when she can't even trust herself.
