This is basically a piece of political catharsis on my part although obviously I would never go so far as to lampoon an actual British politician, so all the characters in this are fictional. Having said that, the story came out of some musing on my part when an actual British politician became Foreign Secretary and would, therefore, have been the de facto boss of M16. How would they have coped, I wondered?
