Ali Krieger is a professional soccer player for the US women's national team and Orlando Pride. At 35 years old, and after living through the whirlwind that was winning the 2019 World Cup, her best friend sets her up for a blind date in London while they're on vacation. As it is a blind date, it isn't until Ali steps into the small, private cafe that she sees her date is no other than Princess Ashlyn Harris, the Queen of England's granddaughter. As if in a fairy tale, it was love at first sight; but the similarities to a Disney Princess's love story stopped there as the reality and hardships that came with being in a relationship with a member of the royal family set in.
