Summary

A prequel based on the premise that the only human who ever 'fell down' was Chara, not Frisk. Frisk is an artificial creation made by Gaster. No one expected their creation could have two entities inside a single body. This is a journey about Frisk evolving into something closer to human, and Chara devolving into something less.

Papyrus is dead. As are 90% of the monsters in the Underground.
Now it was just Chara against Sans in the Last Corridor. Already prepared to die here, Sans fights more out of responsibility than anything else. Simply waiting to die, and that would be the end. At least until next round, right?

When fate prevents a younger Frisk from ever falling into the depths of Mount Ebott, 15 years pass before they're able to venture close again. What has happened to the monsters trapped underground in those years? Thorny vines now prevent even most magical approaches to the mountain, and only rumor abounds about the fate of the monsters trapped inside. Something isn't right, and Frisk is about to find out firsthand.
