Summary
Anya learns that Mama wants a wedding ring [AN: she actually doesn't]. She implants the idea into Loid's mind, and he tries his best to fulfil his duty as a husband. While Loid takes Yor out on a date to give her the said ring, his plan is wrecked when they learn that Anya's movie theatre has been taken hostage.
Twilight and the Thorn Princess want to go in and save Anya without raising the suspicion of their spouse. Chloe and Yuri are given an undercover assignment to pretend to be a couple and obtain information that would help negotiate with the terrorists. Anya and her friends do their best to be brave and survive. Damian tries to make the process easy for Anya.

Desmond is believed to be assassinated, leaving Operation Strix officially done for. Twilight can't figure out a good way to fake his death, until he suddenly gets an idea. Anya doesn't want her papa to go. She has no idea the sort of reaction her mother would have to finding out Loid wrote a suicide note, she has no idea what that even is. She just wants everybody to stay together.

Just as she pries her head off the bar, the band playing at the far end of the room stops their song and a new voice booms from the microphone.
“I’m terribly sorry to interrupt but…”
Yor whips around to see a man standing on the small stage in front of the band, squinting into the bright spotlights as he leans into the microphone. He looks exactly like Loid, except slightly more disheveled and unlike his usual polished self. Her heart sinks.
Please don’t let that be Loid, she silently pleads.
“I seem to have lost my wife.”
She buries her head in her hands while mumbling curses.
Yor and Twilight learn the truth about each other. Neither of them expected what unraveled afterwards.
