Summary
One of a few survivors of a ferry that sank in the Atlantic. Catra is alone, Orphaned, and deathly afraid of water. After already having gone through a few traumatic years of loss, bullying and self-isolation, Catra finds herself in her first year of university, content with keeping her head down and getting on with her work. At least that was the plan.
After being forced into a group work project Catra discovers a group intent on befriending her, who accidently dig up the repressed feelings of loss and loneliness. Catra must once again battle with the ghosts of her past, fight her fears, navigate the long-forgotten waters of friendship, and struggle to accept the hardest concept of all: She is not alone.

Summary
Catra stepped forward and spun, so her back was against Adora’s chest. “I don’t know about you…” Her grin widened as she stepped forwards, grabbed Adora’s waist, spun and tipped her over, holding her steady on the way down. “But I am having a blast.”
Adora cocked her eyebrow, smiling at the memory, “Really.” She said, kicking off the ground and stepping a foot between Catra’s so it brought them face to face, with the tips of their noses touching, her grin widening as Catra’s eyes opened in surprise at the manoeuvre. She kissed Catra square on the lips. “That’s good,” She mumbled against her mouth, “So am I.”

They walked for what felt like an eternity. The soles of her feet were sore when she finally heard hushed voices down the corridor. At the sounds of her guards’ approach, they quieted. A door creaked open; it was wooden. She could tell by the sound of it scratching on the stone floor.
An odd assortment of smells assaulted her nose. Blood. Fire. Smoke. Wax.
“Don't tell me this is your sex dungeon."
Another smack. That one felt deserved. Someone that wasn't one of her guards stifled a giggle with a snort.
Or a Selûnite Tav meets Shadowheart when there are no tadpoles involved. No illithids, no Grand Design. Just Tav and Shady being idiots. Chaos ensues. Rating is to be on the safe side. Each chapter will be tagged if there is anything worth tagging (torture, smut, etc). Will probably add tags as story progresses.
