mk is struggling with chaos to control, mei is struggling with powers and perhaps romance, redson is strugging with powers and feelings.
wukong and macaque attempt to renew a old relationship, realizing something from the past.
nezha must deal with the powers stolen and what he will do now, perhaps meet his old mistakes and dark past once again.
TLDR : Macaque was correct when he said this was the calm before the storm, but instead of a storm it was a whole ass hurricane and a couple thunderstorms every once in a while
