Thorin’s chest, Bilbo has recently had the opportunity to decide, makes for a distinctly impractical pillow, rather too warm and altogether too firm for comfort—which is to say, of course, that he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Luckily, Thorin seems more than content to let him lie there, one arm tucked snugly about him in a sweltering hold.
