    Summary

“Not every return is a second chance. Sometimes, it's just the repetition of a pain the soul refuses to forget.”
When Kyojuro is sent to a time that isn’t his own and finds himself surrounded by unfamiliar faces, he doesn’t know if he’s living a miracle or a punishment.
Among those faces is one he once swore to kill —Akaza— also known as Hakuji: young, kind, with eyes and tattoos that carry the weight of old wounds and a smile warm enough to soften even the harshest winter. He is a light in the fog of Kyojuro’s confusion, but also the greatest threat to his sanity.
Why does his heart ache at the sight of him?

If this is a new beginning… why does it still hurt like an ending?
Caught between distorted realities and emotions that defy time, Kyojuro must uncover whether it’s truly possible to change fate — or if he’s simply trapped in an eternal purgatory between what once was and what can never be.
