This is my first writing of a fan fiction for Bridgerton. I have always wanted there to be a deep meaningful conversation between Violet and Eloise. I feel as though it was implied in the series but here is my take on it :) I hope you enjoy! Please let me know if you enjoy it!

Summary
Phillip Crane spends most of his life believing he is only valuable when he is useful, while Eloise Bridgerton fears marriage will erase who she is entirely. But together, they heal those wounds quietly and steadily, Phillip gives Eloise the freedom to remain fully herself, and Eloise teaches Phillip that he deserves care, tenderness, and belonging without needing to earn them first. Through children, family, grief, motherhood, and the warmth of Romney Hall slowly coming alive again. In the end,the fact that they continually choose one another,creating a family where nobody is abandoned, nobody becomes smaller, and everyone is finally safe enough to belong.
Violet Bridgerton becomes the mother Phillip Crane never truly had by loving him gently, consistently, and without conditions. Phillip is a man used to earning his place through usefulness, so Violet’s warmth checking whether he has eaten, caring for him when ill, including him naturally in the family, and calling him “my dear boy” and eventually her son slowly changes him. She gives him something he never really experienced before: the safety of being loved simply because he belongs.
