Summary
Read this before trying this fic! There’s probably a lot of Dave Karofsky apologists in this house. I can’t. Sorry, we can all have respect at what he becomes and feel bad about what happened in season 3. And I do. But there’s a but in this conversation. Dave is scary and we’re in season 2. In that season, he revels in being a predator.
Yeah, no. No matter how sorry the dude is, no matter how bad he’s bullied after. Kurt deserves more of a “fuck you and your apologies I don’t forgive you, you made my life hell.” Or a “thanks for the sorry, please go away.” I’ll even want to give him the: “great job on wanting to be better, but you screwed up with me and that’s something you gotta live with.” So that’s what he gets in this fic.
So welcome to Dave Karofsky and Blaine Anderson bashing. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.When Blaine tells Kurt that he “shouldn’t try so hard” next time after his audition with ‘don’t cry for me Argentina’ he hears the truth laced behind the polite words. Too gay to let shine in competitions. That’s gonna be he his curse forever, isn’t it? Someone to shashay in the background like a wannabe and be happy about it. Fuck this. Not again.

Ever since he could remember, Kurt has spent every summer in Paris with his moms parents. The summer after junior year would be no different. After being led on by Blaine, and spending the first couple days of summer fighting with Finn, Kurt was done. He booked the next ticket out and left early for Paris, planning to spend the entire summer.
He never expected to meet a fellow half-American from Ohio at his uncles bar. Or to start a summer romance that would turn out to follow him all the way back to the halls of Dalton Academy for senior year. As it turns out, going to Paris early would be the best decision he had ever made.

Shoulders drawn back and hands clasped behind his waist, Alec meets Imogen Herondale’s steel gaze. The words are ritual and although Alec has said them many times before, never before has he meant them less.
