   Summary

   Purple looked over the words over and over, like they would change, like a reply would pop up if she stared hard enough. It didn’t.

   She shut the phone off and shoved it onto her bedside. Fine, then. Yellow could ignore her to focus on some stupid redstone. Yellow could just disappear from her life for all she cared.

   She was used to it.

   Purple swallowed down something burning in her throat, jaw clenched so hard she could feel her teeth grinding together. She buried her face in her pillow. She wanted to drift off to her dreams, forget all about today, pretend it never happened at all. But an image of Yellow a few days ago popped into her head again, back at the park, back when she said she wanted to talk to her and smiled at her and held her hand.

   It was going to be another sleepless night.

   As Purple and Yellow grow closer, Purple starts catching feelings. But before she can confess, Yellow begins avoiding everyone, and she has no idea why.

   OR

   Yellow starts isolating herself and it stirs up Purple’s issues with abandonment.

   Summary

   For all of Blue's life, she'd been living in a massive tower with her Mother. Mother would tell her to never leave, yet she frequently goes somewhere with several strange ingredients, including a tiny lock of Blue's hair. After 15 years have gone by, she decides that she's tired of wasting away in that old tower, and she sneaks out, just for a moment. Along the way, she meets a familiar face for the first time in years, turning her whole perception of the world upside down.
